Introduction:
The study seeks to analyze the India-Pakistan trade prospects in the pharmaceutical sector. It will also analyze as how can intra and industry linkages be created within the pharmaceutical sector in the two countries to help achieve complementarities that contribute to mutual gains on either side of the border.
Objectives:
- Trends in pharmaceutical imports and exports, major pharmaceutical trading partners and manufacturers, and share of each trading partner in pharmaceutical imports and exports
- The level of bilateral pharmaceutical trade between India and Pakistan with a focus on the trade potential of the pharmaceutical sector of Pakistan
- Possible impact of granting Most Favorite Nation (MFN) status to India on pharmaceutical sector/market of Pakistan
