Dr. Javeria Saleem is a PhD-qualified Environmental Scientist and GIS & Remote Sensing Specialist currently serving as a Research Associate – GIS Specialist at the Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI). Her expertise includes geospatial analysis, remote sensing, geospatial modelling, environmental risk assessment, land-use planning, and multi-criteria decision analysis.

She holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences from Fatima Jinnah Women University and has international research experience at Wageningen University & Research, Netherlands, through the HEC IRSIP program. Her research interests include climate change, land-use/land-cover dynamics, natural hazards, sustainable land management, environmental assessment, and geospatial approaches to sustainable development.

Dr. Javeria Saleem has published research in international peer-reviewed journals and has academic teaching and research experience in GIS, remote sensing, environmental management, and geospatial data visualization. Her work focuses on using geospatial and environmental evidence to support sustainable development, environmental planning, climate resilience, and evidence-based policymaking.
