Muhammad Shaban is Certified Accountant. He has been working in development sector for over 15 years. He holds the degree of MBA (Finance), MA – Economics, ICMAP (Stage IV), Certified Internal Controls Auditor (CICA) qualified. At present, he is working as Director Finance at Sustainable Development Policy Institute, Islamabad, Pakistan. He is responsible for supervision of unit activities, financial budgeting and reporting. Previously, he has worked with Marie Stopes Society, Karachi as Accounts Executive and worked on Sun System Accounting Software. He has rich professional experience of conducting workshops on Accounting & Financial Management, Business Analysis, Internal Controls & Compliance, Financial & Operational Audits and International Reporting, Accounting & Auditing Standards and Local Statutory/ Regulatory Requirements, MS Excel, and QuickBooks for participants from international development, public and corporate sector organizations. Beneficiaries include the Wealthungerhilfe, National Bank of Pakistan [NBP], IESCO, THRIVE-CIAPD and the EU Delegation to Pakistan.
