Call for Proposals: Action Research under the SEED Programme
The Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI), under the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO)-funded Sustainable Energy and Economic Development (SEED) Programme, invites proposals from eligible Pakistani think tanks, academic institutions, and research centres for Action Research aimed at strengthening evidence-based economic governance reforms.
The funding supports policy-relevant and action-oriented initiatives that can contribute to reform design, institutional strengthening, implementation support, and capacity building at the federal and provincial levels. Proposed interventions may focus on areas such as macroeconomic stability, fiscal policy and revenue reform, trade and investment, business environment and regulatory governance, financial sector development, and broader economic governance.
Successful applicants may receive funding of up to PKR 30 million for a six-month assignment under a Research Services Agreement. The programme seeks practical and implementable solutions that generate actionable evidence and support ongoing policy processes.
The deadline for submission of proposals is 29th June 2026 (1500 Hrs PKT). Interested organisations are encouraged to review the full Request for Proposals (RFP) and accompanying annexes before applying.
