Project Coordinator
Saira Adnan holds an MS in Disaster Management and a BS (Hons) in Environmental Sciences, with a strong professional focus on climate resilience, sustainable development, clean energy transition, and project management. Her areas of interest span climate justice, ESG integration, policy advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and development communication.
At SDPI, Saira manages a diverse portfolio of donor-funded projects under the Clean Energy Transition Program and the Green CPEC Alliance, where she leads high-level coordination with government bodies, private sector representatives, foreign missions, civil society organizations, and international development partners. Her work revolves around project planning, technical research support, policy-focused programming, and strategic communication.
She has played a key role in delivering over 70 national and international policy dialogues, multi-stakeholder consultations, and advocacy forums, contributing directly to discourse on renewable energy and sustainable investment.
In addition to her coordination and project management roles, she contributes to content development for communication products, donor documentation, and advocacy strategies. She also supports inter- and intra-unit program integration, ensuring alignment across thematic areas and institutional mandates.
Saira’s work is anchored in promoting inclusive and sustainable development, with a growing focus on ESG reporting, community resilience, and capacity building. She has been actively involved in mobilizing multi-sector partnerships under the Pakistan Network for Clean Energy Transition (NCET) and other policy research initiatives that support a just and equitable energy transition in Pakistan.
