Shahid Mahmood Minhas, a development professional with 26 years of experience working with national and international organizations, academia, and think tanks. I have done Masters in social sciences, MS in Public Health and a post-graduation diploma in Victimology and Victims’ Assistance from TOKIWA University Japan. My career spans senior leadership roles in training, capacity development, university administration, community mobilization, monitoring and evaluation, and large-scale project management across Pakistan, including AJK, Gilgit Baltistan, KP, and Punjab. I have served as Head of Trainings at CLD- SDPI, Director Administration and Student Affairs at the University of Greater Manchester, UK (Pakistan Campus), and held key positions with national and International organizations including IRC, ICMC, FPAP, and major academic institutions. Over the years, I have designed and delivered hundreds of professional trainings, led donor-funded initiatives, strengthened academia–industry linkages, and contributed to policy-focused programs aimed at education, health, youth development, and sustainable development. I am a certified master trainer for advocacy and leadership by IIE and Packard Foundation (USA), HEC trained maser trainer for university teaching and learning methodologies. Minhas has at his credentials of holding youth leadership initiatives in collaboration with CASE, USA; University of Central Lancashire, and Global Youth Leadership, UK and founder of youth leadership development program at University of Gujrat. Currently I am working as Senior Advisor at SDPI, a premier think-tank in Pakistan.
