Mr Shahid Rasul did his Master’s in Political Science from University of the Punjab. Prior to joining SDPI, he had served at the Committee for Research & Analysis, Prime Minister’s Secretariat, Islamabad. Besides his routine library work at the Institute, he is involved in translation of research questionnaires, Urdu and English composing of quarterly Paidar Taraqi and Dharti, press releases, etc. He is also responsible for the internal circulation of SDPI’s news coverage, and publication of articles in newspapers. He maintains the database, collected from newspapers and periodicals which is used by the SDPI researchers. In recognition of his dedicated services, the Institute gave him Performance Excellence Award in 2018.
