Concept/Introduction:
The basic aim of this programme is to assist the Ministry of Commerce, World Bank Group, and other partners in designing and implementing better trade policy reforms in Pakistan.

Objectives:
- Identify constraints being faced by existing exporters, disaggregated by small, medium and large enterprises.
- Identify key issues/challenges inhibiting potential exporters, especially SMEs, from engaging in trade.
- Identify key regulatory/policy/infrastructural/knowledge gaps preventing exporters from engaging in trade with South and Central Asian economies.
- Identify key constraints/challenges being faced by current and potential women exporters in engaging in national and international trade.
- Apprise private sector associations of the key findings of the diagnostics prepared by SDPI, World Bank Group and other partners.
Activities:
Consultative meetings done in Islamabad, Peshawar, Karachi and Lahore.
