event details - Youth in Pakistan: Pakistan Human Development Report

Dr Adil Najam would speak on Pakistan National Human Development Report, which is being launched by the UNDP. The report will release the district ranking of Human Development Index for Pakistan.  With a special focus on youth, the report says 64% of Pakistan’s population falls under the age of 30. In particular, the report focuses on three key areas: a) education and the challenges of access to quality education, b) employment and the need to create 1.5 to 2.5 million jobs annually, c) engagement of youth in the decision-making process.
