Syed Shujaat Ahmed

Visiting Research Associate

Syed Shujaat Ahmed is working with Sustainable Development Policy Institute since 2016. Currently he is working as Senior Research Associate . Before working as Senior Research Associate, he has been associated with SDPI as Consultant and Visiting Research Associate.

He is currently working on projects related to trade, local governance and integration .In the past he has been associated with projects related to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Rule of Law Program, Investment and Value Chain, Tax reforms, trade and governance and has also published in these areas. Beside working on projects, he is regular contributor to national newspapers and write on issues related to fiscal, trade, sustainable development goals, investment and tax reforms. Beside his research activities, he has also represented SDPI at Russian Summer School on Institutional Analysis and ARTNeT advanced workshop on Machine Learning and Text Mining for Trade Policy Analysis.

Shujaat is also a PhD fellow at Beijing University of Technology.
