event details - Green Financing Guidelines for CPEC Energy Projects

The workshop will address the following key objectives:
1. Identification the key projects and innovative mechanisms to scale access to green finance for CPEC Energy projects.
2. Review of the existing policy landscape and industry ranking regulations with regards to monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) mechanisms such as voluntary and mandatory reporting and emission disclosures measures in Pakistan.
3. Seek a way forward for Pakistan to:
Develop green asset portfolios and disclosure to access fiscal and non-fiscal for CPEC energy projects.
Introduce incentives environmental and social Indexes and benchmarks and ESG instruments.
Contingent credit, equity facilitation, and review of green lending models for CPEC.
