Senior Research Associate/ Business Development Unit

Ms Rabia did MSc Economics from Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU), Islamabad, and currently she is doing MPhil Public Policy from Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE), Islamabad. She has work experience of over 6 years with Ministry of Finance and SDPI; research areas include education, gender budget analysis, digital trade, e-commerce, public financial management, and data for SDGs. She is working in SDPI as Senior Research Associate and has work experience on various thematic areas of development sector in collaboration with USIAD, DfID, UNESCAP, IDRC, GIZ, ODI, Plan International, and relevant government departments at federal, provincial and local level. Her responsibilities include resource mobilization, conceptualizing the research projects, implementation, producing research publications and contribute in policy outreach. Previously she was also associated with the Ministry of Finance and contributed in Debt Policy Statement. She has authored various research publications on development issues in Pakistan that can be accessed from:
