Ms. Ramsha Mehboob Khan holds a BS in Peace & Conflict Studies from the National Defence University, Islamabad. She has extensive experience in the field of social policy, conflict analysis, and sustainable development. At SDPI, she has contributed to research on issues ranging from climate-induced conflicts, violent extremism, climate change, and disaster risk reduction.
She has co-authored research reports on anticipatory action and social safety programs in Pakistan, the evolving humanitarian partnership landscape in light of the Grand Bargain and Charter for Change (C4C), reparations for loss and damage from the 2022 floods, and Pakistan's institutional capacity for climate action. She has also served as Lead Author on anthology chapters addressing labour rights, environmental compliance, and climate resilience in Pakistan's brick kiln industry, as well as strategies for preventing and countering violent extremism.
Beyond formal research, she has written extensively for public audiences, authoring ten opinion editorials published in Daily Times and The News International on topics including community resilience, positive parenting, climate-induced conflict, peace education, and disaster response. 
Her expertise spans stakeholder mapping, policy advocacy, op-ed writing, and the analysis of both violent and non-violent behavioral processes underlying conflict. She has actively participated in numerous national workshops and consultations, including engagements in Chitral, Swat, Karachi, and Lahore on anticipatory action, climate risk, and women's rights in the humanitarian landscape. Her strong analytical and communication skills, combined with a solid grounding in peace and conflict studies, position her as a capable contributor to research and policy work on climate resilience, human security, and sustainable development.
