Mr. Ali Rehmat holds an MS degree in Environmental Studies from the Department of Earth & Environmental Sciences from Bahria University, Islamabad. His research interests encompass human rights, resource management, nature conservation, climate change, disaster risk reduction (DRR), glacier lake outburst floods (GLOFs), energy, WASH, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Since April 2019, Mr. Ali has been serving as a Research Assistant in the Sustainability and Resilience Program at the Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI). He has contributed extensively to research and policy discourse by authoring research papers and news articles on topics including human rights, conservation, climate change, natural disasters, labor rights, Women's rights, water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH), energy, youth, and safe charity practices.
