Research Associate

Ebadat Ur Rehman Babar is currently pursuing a PhD at Northwest Agriculture & Forestry University (NWAFU), China, and holds an MS in Environmental Sciences from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan.

His work focuses on bridging science, policy, and practice to develop solutions that are resilient, inclusive, and sustainable. His research interests include climate change, disaster risk reduction, circular economy, spatial analysis, artificial intelligence, and sustainability. He has contributed to high-impact projects for organizations such as UNDP, UNEP, ADB, UNIDO, USAID, the World Bank, and various government institutions.

At the Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI), he actively engages in donor-funded projects on circular economy, corporate sustainability, social protection, and climate adaptation and mitigation, advancing evidence-based strategies that inform policy and foster sustainable development outcomes.
